We’re looking for a website developer to design an e-commerce store. Should be an easy project for somebody with the shopping cart experience. The store name is Red Leaf Tea, this will be a tea and honey store.

You can use osCommerce or any other open source shopping cart as the basis. It has to be written in PHP and the backend must be MySQL. The main part will be designing the graphics. We will provide sample product picture and descriptions. The design of the banner, logo, menus, button and other additional graphic features will be up to you. We’d like to warm, pastel colors with green, yellow being the main ones on a white background. The banner or the logo should include a red leaf.

We’d like to use round corners for boxes and shadows for images. We’re looking for a 3-column design. There 2 different type of categorizing products: by type and by region. The left-hand column will list the teas by type. The middle column will have an image map. It’ll be a map of the world, with each continent marked with a different color. The user will access the products from a region by clicking on a specific continent. The continents will also be listed in a navigation menu below the banner. The right-hand column will have boxes such as: Shopping Cart, Search, Specials. When a product is selected, along with standard features such image, ratings, descriptions, review, we’d like to have a pull-down with the selection of different weights/prices. The payment gateway will Google Checkout.
